Account & Data Deletion
At LingoFun Learn, you have full control over your personal data. You can permanently delete your account, learner profiles, and learning progress at any time.
What Is Deleted When You Submit a Request
Your Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email authentication identity, display name, and tokens are permanently deleted.
Your Firestore leaderboard entries and cloud progress documents keyed by your user UID are purged.
All practice completions, Chapter Test A/B records, Term/Final exam scores, XP points, streaks, and badges.
Child profiles in the Parent Area, reading positions across 114 Surahs, and vocabulary lists.
How to Request Account Deletion
Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (iOS & Android)
- Open the LingoFun Learn app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
- Open Profile / Settings (or Parent Zone) and scroll to Account & Privacy.
- Tap "Delete Account & Data" and confirm the deletion dialog.
- Your authentication record, cloud profile, and learner progress are purged immediately.
Note on Active Store Subscriptions: Deleting your LingoFun Learn account removes your application data, but does not automatically cancel an active billing subscription managed by Apple or Google. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (Manage on Apple) or Google Play Subscriptions (Subscription Terms).
Method 2: Web Automated Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access your mobile device, submit an automated deletion request below:
⚖️ Statutory Compliance & Retention Schedule
Immediate Purge: All educational metrics, student scores, voice practice transcripts, and family profiles are permanently wiped from production databases upon request execution.
Disaster Recovery Backups: Isolated encrypted backups expire and overwrite automatically on a 30-day rolling cycle.
Accounting & Statutory Records: Anonymized payment and subscription verification logs (Store transaction ID or bKash Transaction ID, invoice number, amount, date) are retained for statutory tax and anti-fraud compliance. These financial records contain zero student progress or curriculum data.
